The courtyard pool was very nice, the rooms are modern looking and comfortable. Having both Dennys and Chop steakhouse wer every convenient. All the doors are secured via keycard access and property is generally clean and tidy.

The check-in was easy. We reserved a room with a king bed and a pull out sofa, and there are three of us in the room. When I asked front desk if the pull out sofa was ready, they said, no you have to do that. Seeing it was midnight this was really unappreciated.

No housekeeping in 3 days. It was never mentioned at check in that I have to put a sign on the door. Rooms are not well insulated. You could hear everything, and I mean EVERYTHING from the other rooms. Will not stay again!

One of the best ones in Edmonton

I had an amazing and comfortable stay at the Sandman hotel. From the moment I arrived, the staff were welcoming and attentive, making check-in quick and easy. The room was spotless, beautifully designed, and the bed was incredibly cozy. I also appreciated the little touches, like quality toiletries and a quiet atmosphere, which made the whole experience feel extra relaxing. Besides, the parking lot made everything so convenient and the location is perfect, close to everything. Overall, a perfect stay, and I would absolutely return and recommend it for anyone.

Booked for a weekend that was apparently also a soccer tournament so there was a lot of ruckus, especially in the pool. However, staff was great and made sure the pool cleared out just after 10pm. Parking lot was a bit of a mess, but considering the recent snow/thaw, that is to be expected. Chop restaurant had amazing food and service as well. Convenient location, close to WEM and major roads in and out of Edmonton. Overall, happy with the stay.

Pool area- dark and needs some work but at least they had a useable pool and hot tub. For the pool “changeroom” there is a bathroom inside the fitness centre you can use. However, there is no bench to sit on or put your stuff on while you change, and there is no baby change table so my husband had to hold our baby while I changed her. We stayed in a suite on the top floor of the tower building. The elevators smelt like cigarettes or feces depending on which time we got in them. Bed was comfortable but the pillows are lumpy. Kitchen area was clean. And main high touch areas in the bathroom were clean. But the bathroom walls, especially around the sink, looked like they had never been cleaned. Black spots on the ceiling in the shower and above the sink. Toilet paper holder was mounted to a block of wood on the wall. Patio door wouldn’t dead bolt, and the handle lock wasn’t working so we just made sure the door was pulled closed tightly so our baby couldn’t get out. However, even the latch on the patio door wasn’t working properly so my 1 year old was able to push on the door and almost fell out onto the patio. To get from the tower building to the main building/pool/gym/restaurants you have to go to the 3rd floor and take the “bridge” across. The bridge is a maze of stairs down to the 1st floor main building that look like they are never cleaned. I will say that when I brought these issues up at checkout to the hotel staff they were very pleasant to deal with.

Closet door was broken and off the hinges and fell on me when trying to open it. We also requested our room to be cleaned at the time of check in but never had anyone show to clean our room or bring fresh towels. Our room was facing the pool and was extremely loud when trying to sleep. Pool closes at 10pm. This will be our last time staying at the Sandman
