The front desk/ office staff was so welcoming. They answered every question I had kindly. The room was clean and neat. Being handicapped, I loved the handicap shower bars and bath mat. It is located close to the Fairbanks Memorial Hospital which was just perfect for me because that’s the reason I was in Fairbanks.

Rooms are small. House keeping never made our bed, they only took out the trash and changed the towels when we had them on the floor. We asked if they could change our sheets and we were told no. The breakfast buffet was great until we found small hairs in the gravy.

Service was good. Employees were friendly and helpful. I could hear a lot of noise outside and from other guests. The air conditioner was extremely loud and I had trouble controlling the temperature in the room.

Was updated, close to the airport but way from the noise, hotel staff was friendly, only complaint, which they don’t have much control over as they renovated this from another hotel, but the walls are pretty paper thin, and there’s a gap between the door and floor that allowed a lot of foot traffic noise in. But otherwise it was a great stay, the fridge and microwave were convenient and it was nice to have the coffee and breakfast option in the morning.

Worse Fairbanks hotel experience

Terrible experience, they put me in a dirty room, then they put me in another dirty room, but insisted it was clean. 24 hour refreshments were a disappointment, the ice water was room temperature, which I mentioned, next morning still room temperature, coffee old and luke warm. Desk clerk showed not much concern or empathy. Won't stay again, which is too bad because the room itself when I got a clean one wasn't bad, There was also a loud noise that went off all through the night, better hope you are tired and not a light sleeper.
