This riad was the highlight of our trip across Spain and Morocco. The wonderful management checked in with us ahead of our stay, arranged a local tour of the Medina (with Amine, who was terrific) and came out to meet us when we arrived and got a little lost. Everything about our stay was perfect, from the amazing decor to the high pressure shower to the delicious breakfast. Stay here if you can!

The riad is beautiful, everything is new and very clean. There are thoughtful touches everywhere. The location is great, right in the heart of the medina. The breakfast is delicious, a typical Moroccan breakfast, super complete and freshly made. The two ladies at the reception are lovely and super attentive. Since it was our first time in Fez, they recommended the best places and helped us find a good guide to visit the old medina. We would definitely come back, and we will.

Our stay at Riad Mazar was nothing short of extraordinary. From the moment we arrived, we were enveloped in the intricate beauty of Moroccan craftsmanship. The detailed hand-carved plaster designs on the walls, the stunning ceilings in both the resting rooms and common areas, and the vibrant tile columns and walls created an ambiance that was both authentic and luxurious. The gentle sound of fountains throughout the property added to the serene atmosphere, making it a perfect retreat after exploring the bustling medina. This was by far the best Riad we stayed in our entire 2 week trip. Siham went above and beyond helping us sort out our tours and change bookings. The entire staff was very friendly and accommodating. My uncle has mobility issues so it was nice that the taxi could drop us off right at the door. Once you enter it is a stunning work of art for decor. Don’t forget to check out the new part with the pool! It is a short walk to the blue gate and once you sort one the Medina it’s even shorter coming in the back way. I would give this Riad 10 stars if I could and wish we could have stayed longer!
