The room was fine for a one night before an early flight back to the States. Unfortunately, there was no thermostat to control the heat and it was very hot all night. We could not leave the window open due to loud car traffic. Upon complaining to the receptionist, he said, that is the system, it does not change.

We showed up early hoping to just drop our bags and our room was actually ready! able to check in well before our time and it allowed us to enjoy another full day in Florence before our flight home in the morning. Front desk staff were super helpful with advice on what time to get to the airport (located 5mins away), called us a cab, and even had a bagged breakfast for us to take with us since we had to checkout at 4am!

The hotel and staff were wonderful. Very clean and comfortable. The area was very sketchy. We left after an hour. Fine for a quick business trip. Not great for young families.

The staff was wonderful and helped put us in another room when we discovered the toilet in our original room was broken and there was mold, mildew, and a broken shower door. The hotel we filthy and in a sketchy neighborhood. The hotel claimed to be part of the Best Western chain. It wasn’t; I think there’s some sort of trademark infringement happening here. I would avoid this place.
