We were looking for a single night stay for my daughter as she travelled to meet up with a school group. Hotel Golf was convenient, comfortable and safe. It was an easy commute from the Florence airport and offered quick access to the train station.

Hotel was located close to the train station and about a 10 minute walk to the Duomo & Ponte Vecchio. Irvin at the front desk was exceptionally helpful and friendly. Breakfast mediocre but all in all a good value considering the prices in Florence. room was very clean and quiet. would stay here again.

Pros: Convenient location, free and easy parking, great breakfastm helpful staff. Cons: worst sleep ever - stuffy and hot room with not working air conditioning. At the same time it is too noisy outside to sleep with windows open mosquitoes

Marco was friendly and explained a lot my first night there. Street is fairly busy during the day, you could use the traffic noise as an alarm clock. Room away from the front might be better. Breakfast was good with a nice selection of pastries. Comfortable bed, and good hot water in the bathroom.

Excellent location , free parking and you can walk into centre (flat) within 15 minutes or take the tram 2 minutes walk and 2 stops into centre. Room area large and have good air conditioning. Slept well, quiet with breakfast included

Good Hotel

The hotel was very adequate and the location was good. The only issue we had was there was no air conditioning in the room. The window in the room was locked so we could get no air. The housekeeper brought us a fan, which helped. We were surprised when housekeeping freshen up our room on Day 2. - which we didn’t expect. The breakfast was excellent with a large variety of food. Overall, a good hotel.

Convenient parking, but not sure to get a spot, we always seemed to get the last spot. Ok breakfast, but no eggs/bacon, only hard boiled eggs. Internet slow, it's time to upgrade it. Good roomy rooms. Overall a very good value in Florence. Recommended.

The room was clean and the bed was comfortable, unfortunately, the bathroom sink was half clogged and the shower had no handset. Good breakfast. The location near the station is also good for those arriving by train, it's a shame there was nothing nearby but it was always necessary to return to the center.

This hotel made me seriously doubt the ratings

Hotels like these make me seriously doubt the ratings on Hotels.com. An 8.2 for what? A highly overpriced hotel - during the same week i stayed at 4 star hotel in La Spezia and a 5 star hotel in Rome for a daily rate less than this 3 star hotel. Very basic breakfast - No fruits or vegetables. Bread and croissants were either over done or under done to the point where you can't eat. One tart of 1 square inch is the only sweet option. Boiled eggs and a few sorry looking cold cuts - make up the rest of the table. Towels are laid on a stool a feet away from the WC, one flush without closing the lid and the spray from the flush will end up on your towels and potentially your face when you use the towel. Only one pillow per person on the bed. One can hear the street noises and the train noises even with the external and internal windows closed. B&B's make more effort than this hotel does. All in all a disappointment
