Good location - just minutes from San Marco square, which is why we picked it. Hotel is older, room a little tired, but staff were really nice and the breakfast was good. Thank you!

Our stay at Hotel Santa Maria Novella was wonderful! The staff was exceptional — especially the team at the breakfast area. They were always so welcoming, friendly, and attentive, serving with genuine smiles and making sure every guest felt cared for. Their warmth really made a difference and set such a positive tone for each day. The rooms were a bit small, but they were very comfortable, beautifully maintained, and had a classic charm that matched the elegance of the hotel. The location couldn’t be better — right in the heart of Florence, close to everything yet peaceful and relaxing. We truly enjoyed our stay and would definitely return. Highly recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Florence!
