Will NEVER stay here again

Terrible breakfast service and rude staff. My daughter and I came down for breakfast at 9:15 when breakfast ran until 9:30. There was still plenty of food left including biscuits and sausage gravy. There was an attendant (Sarah) at the breakfast who watched me check the gravy and then get out a biscuit. After searching around for a minute I asked her where the butter was and she very rudely responded with “it’s in the fridge”. When I stepped away from my plate to get the butter, the attendant pushed around my daughter, grabbed the sausage gravy, and took it to the back room and threw it away!! This all happened before 9:20! When she came back out I asked if she was bringing out any more and she very rudely said “nope we’re done for the day”. I informed her it wasn’t even 9:20 and she continued to have attitude with me. She knew that I was making a plate of biscuits and gravy and intentionally threw it away.

Weekend Getaway

Just an overnight getaway to enjoy local sites with my wife. The hotel facilities have everything you need, nothing lacking. Our room was very clean and the King size bed quite comfortable. We enjoyed the pool area which was very relaxing and beautiful. A nice breakfast spread was provided, with my wife's favorite biscuits and sausage gravy, and you could have eggs or pancakes or cold breakfast items as well. Overall, we loved our stay. This was our first stay at a Holiday Inn Express and will book at other locations as we travel.

The stay overall was fine. However when we returned after an evening out visiting family, we had a hard time finding a parking spot due to at least 3 trucks hauling long trailers parked ACROSS multiple parking spots. Between the 3 trucks we saw, they must have blocked at least 25-30 parking spaces combined. And they were all occupying spaces fairly close to the entrance. The only spot we found available was on the very far side of the building. I’m disabled and often have a hard time walking due to pain, so having to park so far away because inconsiderate guests took up so many close spaces with only a few vehicles wasn’t fun. I’m surprised the staff allowed it and didn’t at least have them parked their trucks and trailers far in the back rather than right up front.

I came down to get my daughter from college and this is my first stay at this hotel. It was very clean and has all the amenities. The room was spacious and clean. I would definitely stay again.
