First the positives: great area, an overall helpful staff and a surprisingly good breakfast. Now the negatives. The place was old, unmaintained and in bad condition. The biggest issue was that it was on the third floor (no elevator, of course) and stiflingly hot during our stay there (no air conditioner, of course). There was also a weird, inexplicable knocking sound from the roof (sometimes aggressively, sometimes less so) every evening at the same time. Because the room had only one window, which was on the slanted roof, we couldn’t see what it was. Not a good place at all. Though you are paying less than other places in the area, I would avoid it altogether. Weird hotel. Bad value for your money.

Best avoided

It's a rip off- paid extra for en suite but discovered in the morning that the shower wasn't working and would only run cold. Never slept as the walls are paper thin and noisey neighbours playing music at 3am. When I checked out the receptionist didnt seem to care about the fault or lack of sleep.

Erschreckend äußerlich verfallenes Hotel!

Fenster konnten nicht geöffnet und auch nicht geschlossen werden!Toilettenpapier musste trotz roomService nachgeordert werden!Im Bad keinerlei Möglichkeit ein zweites Handtuch aufzuhängen!Das Geschirr wie auch der Tisch im FrühstücksRaum war nicht gerade sauber!Außerdem war man nicht in der Lage, anhand einer abgebenen InternetAdresse vom FlughafenTransfer, den ich mitgebucht hatte, die Telefonnummer herauszubekommen und dort zwölf Stunden vor Transfer den Transfer zu buchen!Das führte dazu, dass wir einen zwei Stunden früheren Transfer bekamen und somit den vormittag nicht mehr wie geplant in Glasgow nutzen konnten!
