The admin staff didn’t seem to know what they were doing, trying to communicate was hard. There was no curtains in the room and they had all the lights outside on all night so it was like daylight in the room trying to sleep, was terrible. Mattress was so uncomfortable; floor would have been more comfortable. Every day my room smelt of smokes, others were very noisy and no one knew how to park. Won’t be staying there again

Good location in Mermaid beach. Not a few minutes walk from the beach which is a minus. Pretty good accomodation and clean. Stuff in the reception were nice but didn't speak good English and couldn't help us a lot , but overall experience was good, good location, convenient parking and clean room with all the needs.

Parking was an issue. On one night we had to park on their neighbouring property. Park lines were faded and difficult to reverse into. Otherwise the facilities in the room were very good and staff were helpful. It's an old property that probably needs a facelift but we have stayed there on various occasions over many years.

A basic motel that has some maintenance requirements. The cleanly off the room and the property generally needed improvements. There was a domestic in the room next door at 5am and nothing was done to deal with this incident by any staff nor did QPS attend.

The staff member I saw was lovely, friendly, and polite. But the room looked nothing like the photos on the website, and I'm not sure if all the glowing reviews were in a different much better room, but the one I had was smelly, and dirty, the door rattled wildly, the bathroom window had a screen area that was broken, there were spider webs, and a grubby mark on the wall where the pillows touched it, inside the cupboards smelt, the fridge smelt, the carpet was stained. It's a place to sleep if that's all you need, but it is not a good place to book for a holiday.
