This place had some highs and lows. It was very dog friendly, and it had a big grassy area for dogs to play and do their business. Great! We went to Grand Junction to shop at the mall, which was very close; also great.
Breakfast was included and good; parking was included in the rate; and there was a pool and a hot tub, all of which we love. There were some very rude and obnoxious teenagers in the pool who were jumping and splashing so much that a) we didn't really feel comfortable enjoying the pool ourselves and b) there was arguably more water on the floor than in the pool, but I guess I can't really blame the HOTEL that they're mother of said teens -who was sitting right there- didn't feel inclined to curtail their rude and inconsiderate behavior. I don't feel that it's incumbant upon the hotel staff to enforce basic courtesy on their guests, nevertheless our experience at the pool diminised our enjoyment of our stay.
Finally, whatever cleaning products they use have a very strong smell that I found a bit nauseating. I only noticed it in certain parts of the hotel, but it was quite unpleasant. Generally it's reasuring when something smells like it's just been cleaned, unless it's in an pubic bathroom sort of way. As I said, highs and lows.
