Riverside Escape

Tule nauttimaan "Riverside Escape" perheesi kanssa. Hotelli sijaitsee New Riverin rannalla, ja voit kuunnella upean veden ääniä rentoutuen tilavalla kannella tai käpertyä riippumatossa, kun katsot mukuloita tai kanoottoreita. Voit myös vuokrata oman putken tai kajakin lyhyen matkan päässä Riverside Canoesin lomamökistä. Heittäkää kalastuslinjasi vuoren taimenille aivan omalta joen julkisivulta. Voit myös kerätä keräilyä tulisijan takana illanleirille, paahtamalla vaahtokarkkeja ja tarttumalla fireflies.

Sisällä löydät mukavan olohuoneen holvikattoineen ja runsaasti ikkunoita ylimääräisten valaistus- ja jokinäköalojen, WiFi: n ja 50 tuuman taulu-tv: n kanssa. On mukava nahkasohva ja -tuolit lounging-tilaan. Sytytä tulipalo kaasutakka ja rentoutua viileässä Carolina Mountain -illassa. Löydät myös DVD-levyjä ja kirjallisuutta paikallisista nähtävyyksistä. Keittiö on täysin varustettu kevyen ruoanlaittoon ja siellä on astianpesukone nopeaa puhdistusta varten. Ateriat syötetään ruokapöydässä kuudelle, josta on näkymät joelle, tai ulkona patiolla pöydälle nauttien luonteesta.

Päätasolla on myös kaksi makuuhuonetta ja mukava aulakylpy, jossa on hiljattain kaakeloitu suihku. Makuuhuoneessa on viihtyisä king-size-vuode ja taulutelevisio. Toisessa makuuhuoneessa on parivuode, jossa on vyöryä - suuri lapsille. Koko perheelle on jopa lautapelejä pelata niissä viileissä iltaisin tai sateisina päivinä. Pesukone ja kuivausrumpu sijaitsevat myös päätasolla.

Kiipeä portaita auki olevalle loft-alueelle, jossa on toimistoalue, josta on upea näköala joelle niille, jotka joutuvat työskentelemään lomalla, ja kaksi erillistä vuodetta, joissa on puoli kylpy lisää nukkumatilaa varten.

Beautiful River and Mountain retreat

Nice and secluded place on New River. Short drive to dinning and shopping. The house is very well appointed and had everything needed. I would definitely recommend this place if you're into fishing or just a relaxing stay.

Great location!

The location of this property was perfect for our needs! We spent the weekend hiking and exploring the outdoors - just what we were looking for. The location was amazing and right on the New River! The house was not as clean as I expected. Missing a few extras to make it a 5 star stay.

Nice quiet atmosphere!

Cozy home. Great backyard with plenty of running/playing room all the way down to the river. Home is very small but has a nice big deck. Driveway is very steep and parking is limited. 2 car max. Nice and quiet stay and will consider renting again.

Amazing river view

The property was clean and comfortable and the view of the river from the porch was AMAZING. Cabin has great Wifi and cell phone reception, lots of clean towels and blankets. The shower head was a bit low for anyone over 6 feet tall, but there was lots of HOT water. The porch is large and great for enjoying the river view. Unfortunately the grill was unuseable. Overall we were very pleased and would recommend this property to others.

The cleanliness needs some work... multiple dusty cobwebs around the house, some with dead bugs hanging in them. All of the plastic colored plates were dirty with food stuck on them, as well as other dirty dishes. The washing machine did not work, and there's a big hole in the deck. Overall, we did enjoy our stay and enjoyed the property, just wished the place was better maintained.

The home had everything we needed for our 4 day stay and very convenient for our tubing trip. We went up early on our day of check in ..the owners said the house was available. So that was nice to not to rush up and unload and use most of the afternoon. We will definitely be staying again. ♥️

Place was clean and kitchen was well equipped(no basic condiment0. Living area/Kitchen space is a bit tight, but worked for 3 grown ups. Only surprise was when booking, the fees for this place are very high compared to the nightly rate advertised.

Father's Day weekend getaway

When looking for a place to stay on the river this looked like the perfect place. Based on previous reveiws I reached out to property owner concerning cleanliness and the yard. They assured me they hired a new cleaning service and the grass was mowed twice a month. So I booked it and we did not regret it. The place is beautiful, clean and yard was mowed right on the river. They had a gated porch for the dogs to run. We grilled fished and played board games. We saw deer out in the ayrd everyday. My family really enjoyed it and we will definitely book this in the future.

Reviewer Comments: We stayed for a week in this cottage along the river, about 30 minutes from Grayson Highlands. Overall a great stay; maintenance responded quickly to repair the toilet. Great internet, which was essential as cell service is very spotty in the area. No major issues with the house, but it could use a little TLC. Slept 5 people comfortably, 1 1/2 baths worked out fine. Kitchen/dining area a bit tight, Loved the back deck with large umbrellas to protect from sun and rain. A little confused about trash/laundry procedures for check out.

Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Perfect for a couple and our dog. We looked forward to the outdoor fire pit for the evening. Unfortunately the rain from the latest hurricane flooded the lower level of the property prohibiting access to the firepit. Drove into West Jefferson and enjoyed the shopping and the choice of places for Lunch, Typically we enjoyed mountain views but decided to try something different- the flooding impact the overall weekend- not the owners fault. Property Management team was great to work with-- avoid VRBO. VRBO's final price with hidden fees add 100.00 dollars per night.
