The room was nicely updated with a few blemishes of course. Good location and great offseason rate. The problem we had is the room was 201. The lobby is two stories with a staircase to second level. Every single thing that happened in lobby traveled up and into our room so we heard conversations constantly. Also the maintenance closet is next to the room and somebody was in and out at 4:00 a.m. and was consistently having the door slammed.

It was ok for the money. Basically what I expected from a $120 a night room. Balcony railing was practically falling off so that was scary. Did have a great view of the ocean, however.I don't think I'd sray here again but it worked for my needs at the time.

Everything really stands out, including the friendly staff and even the cute silver dollar pancakes in the morning. We have been staying at Ocean Surf & Suites for years now and we look forward to it each year from the moment we check out. The proximity to the beach, good food and all within 15 minutes of both Long Beach and Huntington Beach, just make it the perfect little hideaway.

Breakfast was ok. Don’t care Much about it. Beach access was a priority for me. Property is excellent. Stairs in a cheapest room which was amazing. Shops And restaurants are fantastic. And FREe parking which is a lot for south California
