The staff made up for any downfalls that the hotel may have had. They were super pleasant and quick to respond to any request. The room is clean. The only downfall would be the handicap roll in shower. Looks like somebody had ripped out an old tub and put it in a walk-in shower there so water came out of it onto the floor easily. We still rate it a five because of the staff.

The young man who checked us in was the most friendly front desk staff I have ever had the pleasure of encountering. He was extremely helpful even to the point of offering to help with luggage. I did not get his name it was evening of 11/6.

I was deceived online into thinking that this hotel was in Martinsville, VA not Martinsville, Indiana. When I realized my mistake (which was about 10 minutes later) I talked with the booking company and they tried to get a refund,p but without success. So essentially, I had to pay the entire amount and did not get to stay there. I was offended by Holiday Inns lack of graciousness. Beware when you’re online!!! If you enter the city and hotel name be sure to check the location. It is often NOT obvious. They have a long list of hotels and bait you with good prices BUT these hotels are miles away from your location. One must dig for the details. Sincerely, Unhappy in VA

When we arrived, two employees were just outside the entrance smoking, but, they greeted us with smiles. Breakfast was ok, more options of fruit would be nice. The breakfast staff kept the area clean and food choices full. Our hotel in Kansas on Midland Dr. was very unpleasant, hotel needs a complete remodel, outside was dirty with cigarette butts, bushes not cut, inside all carpets were stained and dirty as well as our room, fixtures were stained and broken, bathroom door would not close, elevator broken, ice machine broken.We won’t stay there again.The employees were friendly.

Very friendly and helpful staff. Decent breakfast food selection with both cold and warm options as well as healthy options. Some minor inconveniences such as ice machine being out of ice one morning but was told where to find another one and was an easily fixed problem. Lobby and common areas were clean. We noticed in our bathroom some of the nooks and crannies that hadn't been cleaned in a while but we were not grossed out and took into consideration the possibility of short staffing. Overall, we would definitely stay again.

The first room we were put in (junior suite with pull out bed) had blood on the bed comforter when we checked in… they moved us to another room with a full size bed, that wasn’t going to work with 2 adults and a child and not what we paid for…. We settled for 2 Queen beds and was told we would be reimbursed the difference of the rooms or comp a free night and have yet to hear anything back from the hotel and it’s been almost 10 days.
