The Weston hotel is one of the more upscale premier BONVOY properties based on ratings we chose this hotel price was a little expensive however, our dog got to stay for free so we took that into consideration the VALET staff was very nice. They let us park our vehicle in front instead of paying the $28 valet fee. THE initial greeting from the front staff was a little offputting, but then they helped us with our room, the express service for meals needs to be retrained. There was a lack of communication or interest or knowledge in their menu. They had no idea what was available couldn’t give us a timeframe put us on hold to the restaurant because evidently the phone system is not working. This is not expected at a BONVOY premier hotel. We had the same issue the next morning with room service. We received the wrong food items they didn’t bother to let us know that the wellness Juice was no longer available, but it’s still printed on the menu. The menus need to be updated. Housekeeping is excellent. The room carpet is stained. The walk-in shower had a little bit of mold residue around the rim of the shower. we’ve spent close to $700 for two nights including two meals from room service the only game in town so we were a captive audience. We had driven seven hours from Texas and were exhausted. Disappointed with this brand. The redeeming qualities are the heavenly bed and linens. White tea products in the bathroom. Only one robe in the bathroom.

Though the check in process was smooth and the staff was friendly/helpful; the room left much to be desired. Upon getting into my room, there was a used hand towel on the sink, and the hand soap bar was unwrapped and used. Unsure if this was from housekeeping or the guest before me...so due to that, I was weary about the status of the bed and other surfaces. On the second night, I went to take a shower despite my hesitancies. The shower floor was in need of a deep clean. I stood on a towel. Several minutes in, the bottom of the shower started to fill up despite the drain being unobstructed. I quickly exited because standing in dirty, ponding water was not the experience I wanted. It took over an hour for the water to drain out completely. It was late, I was not concerned with packing up my things and requesting another room. However, for the price of this stay, very disappointed in the state of the room. Next time I will look to stay at cheaper option in Jackson that has higher cleaning standards.

We live locally & had an event with friends downtown and was really impressed with the Westin. If you needed a place to stay in downtown Jackson, this is your best bet.

Clean room. Friendly staff. Coffee creamer in room was chunky and inedible. No coffee in the lobby. Restaurant served us a cup to go… which was mediocre and costs 4-5$ for a small cup. Limited free parking on the street. Great location for convention center events though.
