I loved the location as well as the ease of loading and unloading right at the curb. The parking was very convenient: just a half block away. I didn't know there was a rooftop pool and lounging area! Great surprise and a wonderful spot to people watch Duval Street. The room was perfect for the 2 of us. I didnt comment on the breakfast as we didn't eat there. Overall A+ rating!

Never again!

Where should I start? Our door to our room was not even on straight…not even sure if it locked. There was a two inch gap at the top. The room was filthy! There was a huge pile of long hair in our shower that looked like someone had cut their hair in there. Shower ceiling had mildew marks. There was also dark hairs stuck to bathroom door. The bathroom door also had a huge chunk out of it, like a dog had chewed on it. We brought leftovers back to our room which were covered with tiny bugs within an hour. I was covered with a rash because I’m confident the same tiny bugs were in the bed. There was an advertised rooftop pool and bar. The bar consisted of a refrigerator with a glass door that you could purchase items out of down at the front desk with a sign on it that said, “Out of Order”. Pictures on website are very deceiving!

when we arrived at the hotel, we were told our room was ready and headed up. i went into the bathroom to find hair all over the place, and not cleaned. i went to call the main desk, and the phone didn’t work. i went into the hallway and told the front desk lady, who said room service was on the way to clean it. we then had to wait in the room while room service rushed and cleaned the bathroom and mopped the floor, leaving me wondering what else in the room wasn’t cleaned properly and delaying us from beginning our trip. the stay was good, the location was nice, but very loud at night because of the close by bars and live music. we expected that but just something to keep in mind, they play until around 3 am. when we went to check out, we asked where we could store our bags because our flights weren’t until later in the day. they told us they do not have a place to store guests bags and we can leave them in the breakfast area but they take no responsibility if they are stolen. i don’t see why they can’t put them behind the counter or in a closet. i’m sure guests ask to store their bags often, it is a pretty standard request at a hotel. then, we came back a few hours later to get our bags and go to the airport. we decided to sit for one minute in the breakfast area to order an uber. then, a random man asks if we were staying there, and then told us we need to leave because he is having a private conversation. it was a public lobby and we were paying hotel guests.

You can hear everything in your room and the people in the room across from us were loud and partying majority of night. Hotel is okay. Not the cleanest.

The location was very good; the hotel was ok; the breakfast was poor; I don't know, but after breakfast I spent half the day in the room; it was very difficult to fall asleep or not at all, like the first night, or I woke up every two hours; the air conditioning was terribly loud in the wall next to the bed and they were partying in the bar next door until 4 a.m.

This is an older property - which does add some charm, but it is showing her age. While the property is clean overall, there are some little things that weren't too appealing. Cracks in tiles in bathrooms, some scratches on floors, the vinyl headboard had some marks and small tears, but overall, clean. We did not use the pool, but did take some time to sit on the patio that overlooked Duval street - which was prime for people watching (and you can hear live music easily from Willy Ts). The girl that ran the front desk isn't the most friendly or outgoing - Matter of a fact, when we first entered the lobby, I did not even know she was sitting there because she was set so low compared to the counter. It was a quick, easy check in, and she wasn't rude, just not chatty. The breakfast was pretty standard in terms of free. Waffles, toast, eggs, coffee, juice. Nothing fancy, but great to get the day going. The BIGGEST perk of this hotel is the location - and that really makes the age and condition worth it. You are literally right in the middle of Duval - take a left or right at the corner and you are halfway to either end. It made our days nice - We went one direction one day and seen it all, and then the other the next day. Also, for reference, its about 1.5 miles of walking to the Southern most point buoy - or about $11 uber ride. And about the same to the other end with Sunset Pier. We didn't have a car, so no idea on parking availability.

This was an odd place. When I arrived, no one was at the desk. I found the desk person on lunch break. I asked if I could check in, and was told no. Started to walk out, planning to come back later. She stopped me and started asking questions and told me to fill out some paperwork. I was checked in shortly after that. After an initial cold reception she was pleasant for the remainder of the stay. The doors lock at 6pm (access with a code after that, make sure to press hard on the buttons) and there is a number to call for late check in. Ran into a family trying to get checked in, no one answered but I found out later they eventually got checked in and seemed to be in a good mood. Rooms were dated, but nice street view. Great location. Off-site parking was convenient. I'd recommend staying here, just lower your expectations a little and try to get there before 6PM.
