Great Hotel

Hotel is clean and comfortable, there is parking behind the hotel which is included. Rooms are nice, there are better in Kilkenny but you pay the premium for that. Hotel is right in the centre, so can walk to wherever you want to. Had soup and a sandwich in the attached pub/restaurant which was very nice and the bread was exceptionally fresh. The Irish breakfast in the morning was perfectly cooked and as good as I have every had to be honest, and I have had a few in my time. Overall very happy, fantastic value for money, and I will not hesitate to stay again.

Hotel was a bit odd. Small front doors, lobby has a stuffed tiger in it which is cool. Room was not our favorite. The elevated tub has a shower curtain that won’t stop sticking to you. Toilet would also run for over an hour. Place felt old and outdated but it was ok for the price.

The staff were great, and it was good value. I was woken up by people talking outside my room on both nights. The hotel can't help drunk people being inconsiderate. The bed was comfortable. The telly reception wasn't great, and the water needed to be a little hotter. I would stay again, as it was reasonably priced, a good location, and the staff were friendly and helpful

Hotel was clean and staff were friendly and helpful. Rooms were lage and warm. Bathrooms while clean, needed some renovating. We had dinner in the bar durjng the evening and breakfast the following morning The food was just ok. Dinner tasted greasy and the breakfast was definitely reheated as it came out too quickly and was over cooked. In saying this I would stay again but probably not have food.

Basic, no-frills room.

A very average stay—the hotel is a classic old (not in a cute way for the rooms) Irish hotel. Everything is very basic, which is fine except it cost a fortune. My main issue was the bed—very uncomfortable. This is all a review of the room—the bar is charming and the people are nice.
