The room had a strong sweat/body smell and did not go away even when leaving the windows open. The walls had multiple stains that left the impression the room was neglected. Overall the hotel amenities are average with a good location, but the situation mentioned above did make the stay less enjoyable.

The hotel was so close to the Kyoto train station South Gate. It was easy for us to catch the train, do shopping and dinning while we were staying at the hotel. Used Shinkansen, local trains and AirPort Express train from the Kyoto station without walking too far with our luggage.
