the room is very spacious. be warned that it is a couples hotel but overall my bf and i enjoyed the hotel room. the room we had, had a ‘all you can drink beer’ faucet which my bf loved. the area is inconvenient because the nearest train station is about 17 mins by walk, but not unbearably bad. we did notice pubic hair under the sheets, but that was the only thing that was unclean. stuff like amenities were free as long as you bring them back to the front desk area. all and all, would come back and recommend

The property itself is very well maintained, with every possible amenity available you can think of. However the idea of it being an “adult only” hotel may not be comfortable with everyone (you get the idea). The hospitality by the staff was excellent, no doubt, food was great too, and the rooms are massive! But getting here by public transit could be painful, as its quite a walk from the nearest train station (Takeda).

The staff was so helpful. I do not speak Japanese that did not stop the none English speaking staff, they went above and beyond to show me how to navigate. They even let me use their phone charger when I had forgotten mine. My room was clean and I felt safe being a solo traveler here.

Couples motel. Free parking away from the center of Kyoto. So we used this hotel to relax after lots of walking. Room was very large, King size bed and large tub. Can order room service from the Tv or tablet which is nice. Note: free items are free for members only. I would not recommend the location without a car.

Reasonable and luxurious

This is a love hotel. You get privacy and everything you need to be comfortable. The price is reasonable for such a luxurious place. Besides the king size bed, you also get to spend your evenings in a big bubble bath. You get room dining for everything you order, breakfast is included and brought to your room as well. At the front desk, there is a chocolate fondue. This is not your typical Japanese hotel. Obviously, it is far from the center but if you like cycling, it is just a 20 minutes ride from Kyoto station. A really funny experience!

DO NOT RECOMMEND THIS HOTEL IF YOU ARE STAYING MORE THAN ONE NIGHT. Be sure to read all the notes on the page about this hotel. You have to pack up your luggage and vacate the room you are staying in every single day from 11:00am to 6:00pm, leaving your luggage at the front desk all day. You are issued a new room each time you come back. Also, they charged us an extra $100 a night when we first got there. Needless to say, after the charges and when we re-read all the rules, we moved hotels. I’m sure it’s fine for one night, but not convenient for a multi night stay. I will say though that the lady at the front desk was kind enough to refund the extra charges when we said we didn’t want to stay.

Very recommended

This was our second love hotel booked through Hotels.com. Both in the same hotel chain group. While the first was abismal this was 110% better. We stayed two nights and had both a suite night one and a regular room night two. Comfort was on point, the room was very clean and the amenities for luxurious and appreciated. This hotel allowed us to have an actual room key unlike the other and had free chocolate fountain for us to partake in if we wanted to. There were in each room a beautiful bubble bath jetted tub.
