I found this hotel a perfect spot if you are in Kyoto for truism and sightseeing. Close to Kyoto station and metro line and bus line. A few good dining alternatives. Overall I recommend end this hotel for a few days stay.

Nice and clean property. We had two rooms, large one for me and my wife and another with two double beds for my two teenage sons. I like how there were water bottles, green tea, pajamas and kettle for us to use, and a filtered water refill station on each floor. On both nights that we stayed, the reception desk helped us reserve a table at popular restaurants. Location was good as there were many convenience stores nearby and train stations.

The overall service, place, food and hotel were great. We only had one small issue which was the dryers in the building did not dry our clothes. Besides that we really enjoyed our stay.

The king bed was hilariously large and very comfortable. The location is great for both seeing Kyoto sights and also day trips out of the city. The laundry situation is annoying as the dryer function of the machines is quite poor and it is often hard to find a free machine. The staff were a bit silly when I asked for something sections made a hash of a simple request but good hotel overall.

Worth it

Good hotel with onsen, cleanliness was a must. Restaurant in the hotel can accommodate. Convenience stores & restaurants were close. Will definitely recommend.
