The staff was great! It was nice that they offered different types of housekeeping by! We just needed new towels and they had an easy magnet option that you put outside your door. The showers were nice! Location was fantastic!

The hotel was located in a very convenient area with lots of transit, shopping and restaurants close by. The lobby was beautiful and we loved the drinks station. The donut shop under the hotel was very good and we bought breakfast there on multiple days. The room was a bit small, but likely standard for an Asian country. The in-room laundry was very convenient.

Hotel is locate right at the heart of the shopping area, super convenient. Most surprising feature of the room is the washing machine with cloth dryer, it is definitely a A+ for traveler even for a day or two. The staff here is excellent, friendly, kind and offer a lot of help in every aspect. The hotel lobby is small but provide an environment for relaxing and a drink ( it has a choice of soft drinks, wine and sake, most importantly free of charge). This make me and my family a very happy stay in Kyoto.

Our room was very spacious and totally quiet. The area was busy but perfectly situated for transport, shopping and dining whilst being in the heart of the city and yet only half an hours walk from most of the numerous major attractions. The staff were helpful and friendly and the free coffee etc was very welcome. We’d definitely return should we have the opportunity.

The rooms are really comfortable, the location's great -- you have the market and the subway steps away and can easily walk to Gion. The staff are wonderful, they go above and beyond and the hotel offers amenities from toothbrushes and combs to free coffee, soft drinks, and complementary sake and wine. Would stay there again.

Every aspect of our stay was excellent. Location, staff, lobby, amenities, room size and comfort, cleanliness and quiet. The only thing that could be improved on would be the addition of a recycle bin in the room. We tried our best to keep items separated though! Also the walls could use a little touch up - previous guests seem to not be very careful when using the kettle (running the spout along the wall) and sliding or banging suitcases against the walls. Little picky things! I would 100% recommend this hotel and would 100% stay here again. It was fabulous!

We had a wonderful experience at this hotel. The location is perfect, making it easy to explore the area. The staff were exceptionally kind and helpful throughout our stay, which really enhanced our experience. The room was impressively spacious, especially by Japanese hotel standards, and was kept impeccably clean. A standout feature was the in-room washer/dryer, which we used multiple times during our stay and found incredibly convenient. Overall, we loved our stay and would definitely recommend this hotel to anyone visiting the area.

We loved that the hotel was off the Shinkyogoku street where there was lots of shopping and dining, yet the hotel was quite beautiful and peaceful. Our room was clean and spacious and we made good use of washer/dryer to replenish for rest of our trip. Great place to stay in Kyoto!
