Super close to the Gondola, room super clean, staff amazing and super friendly. During peak times, it can be overly expensive for what one gets, but that's true for all of South Lake Tahoe.

It was so close to the gondola, which made skiing really convenient. The staff were very friendly, and the room was clean and comfortable. I would definitely stay here again.

Great stay! Room was clean and updated. Every single staff person I interacted with were very nice. Rooms are on the small side, especially while the murphy bed is pulled down. But the bed it SO easy to put away. It takes 10 seconds. Pool and hot tub were nice and hot, my son and I really liked tne breakfast options too. (no meats though). I would definitely stay again, but just be warned that fitting more than two people in these rooms would be a challege for me. There wasnt a lot of floor space to organize luggage etc

All of the cooking essentials in the kitchen! Even a plug-in electric stove, measuring cups, and a ridiculous microwave cookbook! We had a great time though there was a light outside our window on the second floor (room 422) that kept the room pretty bright even at night. Don’t take a shower at 4:30/5 when everyone is getting off of the slopes because the water doesn’t get too hot (probably because everyone is using it at the same time). Also, the temperature in the room was a little tricky to get right but we had a great time and definitely would stay here again.

The proximity to the gondola is excellent, literally across the street. This is a lodge, not a hotel but most of the properties in Tahoe are lodges/inns. It is an old property and it is not like staying at the Marriot on the other side of the street. However, the people are great, the rooms are just like the pictures, they have activities every day, dvds to check out, bikes to borrow, etc. There are also on-site laundry machines that are free to use (you just book a 2 hour block with the office). The bed in the one bedroom is a full size and tight if you are used to a king/queen at home. All that said, for the price, location, and friendliness of the staff - this is a great option for skiing in Tahoe.

Professionalism Some employee named Kenny was obnoxious rude and claimed is parents owner it for 30 yrs well the new owner is not his parents maybe they required the new owner to hired him as part of the deal I’m not sure he appeared to have some kind of mental issues that maybe an issue dealing with the general public and has caused some serious libility on the new owner that is being examined by legal counsel my representative will be in touch with the registered agent who represents the corporate or business entity for any and all legal documents thank you reading this review
