Place to relax

Enjoyed the atmosphere of the old manor. Wife and I enjoyed walking the grounds, eating great food for dinner and breakfast and not having any electronic distractions in the room (they have hi-speed wifi if you just need to get online). Staff and service was fantastic as were the views. The dinner was prepared with many ingredients grown right on the property.

We had the most wonderful stay. Lovely place and fantastic food. Emma was so kind and helpful. We were visiting from the US and she helped us find Swedish relatives and my grandmothers home near Ramkvilla.

Beautiful Hotell in a Beautiful Location

Asa Herrgard is located just by a lake and it is just so beautiful... The room was clean. I am an experienced traveler and have seen such white towels and sheets in very few hotels. Our room had a jacuzzi which was an unexpected great suprise! :) Although we visited the hotel in off-season and arrived quite late, and there were no staff to welcome us, the check-in instructions were so clear and simple enabling a smooth access to our room. The breakfast had been prepared with great care and was delicious. Honestly, our one night stay at Asa Herrgard felt not enough but we had to leave because we were on a roadtrip with many things planned. I hope to come back and stay longer to enjoy it fully!

Die Anlage mag im Sommer eine hervorragende Location sein. Wir waren an diesem Abend die einzigen Gäste. Das beschriebene Restaurant hatte geschlossen! Die Anfahrt ins nächste Dorf wäre unangenehm weit gewesen. Man hat mich zwar kurzfristig darüber informiert, dass das Restaurant nicht geöffnet sei,jedoch nicht über die schlechten Alternativmöglichkeiten. Da wir spät angereist sind erfolgt der Check In per Abholung der Schlüssel aus einer Schlüsselbox. Diese war durch Weihnachtsdeko relativ schlecht zu erreichen. Ansonsten, im Sommer bestimmt eine schöne Anlage.

Et helt fantastisk sted, barnesenger var ikke ordnet, men fikk straks god hjelp av en meget vennlig ansatt.trappa opp var ikke vennlig for eldre. Frokost var god, men personalet var meget uvennlig, de så sur ut , stengte døra 10 minutter før og formidlet tydelig at barna ikke var velkommen. ( Eneste minus med meget koselig sted ellers)

Bra mat och bra frukost samt service. Vackra omgivningar. Små rum, trots uppgradering. Ingenstans att hänga upp kläder. Bra att det fanns kylskåp och diskmöjligheter, men saknade microvågsugn. Frågade frukostpersonalen om man kunde köpa med sig kaffe i egen medhavd termos, men hen visste inte.

Toppenvistelse

En jättefin plats att stanna en eller flera dagar. Lugnt och skönt och fin mat. Att bara promenera i omgivningarna är en upplevelse. Vi vet att det inte är lätt att hålla en sådan här herrgård med de korta säsongerna Sverige erbjuder. Ägarna och personalen gör ett toppenjobb.
