Cute little gem with a view.

Staff weren't super friendly except for the one who checked me out today. The hotel is gorgeous but does need a lot of updating. It's in a good spot but be aware that Ubers are not allowed to the door. You will have to hike up the hill u less you take a taxi.

A mix of business and vacation time in Lisboa, and this was the perfect locale. Great location, quiet yet easy access to the baxia and Alfama. Beautiful view from our room. Genuine and very accommodating staff, especially Sofia in F&B. Highly recommended!

Had a lovely stay all staff very friendly and helpful. We did not like the view from our room so we spoke to the manager who upgraded us without any extra fee. The room was very nice and clean apart from the carpet that needed cleaning. Some of the furniture in the lobby needed some attention. But overall great hotel

The area is not walkable, the hotel is located at the top of a hill but the views are gorgeous, though. The hotel should warn guests that Uber can't get to the hotel due to local regulations and should advise guests to have a taxi instead. I was dropped off some 200 yarda and had to walk uphill with all my and my wife's luggage. But after this little incident, everything was smooth, Luis at the front desk was very helpful with reservations and calling taxis for me. The hotel room was very spacious and luxurious. Overall, a great stay.

A very nice hotel and friendly staff. The view was wonderful and in the area were restaurants and transport and some small supermarkets. We really loved the stay but the only thing which we would of changed is that it was very quiet on Christmas eve in the hotel. There was nothing going on in the way of entertainment which was a shame. The area is very quiet and it's a bit of a walk to and from the centre up and down hills. There are trams from the square and a tuk tuk transfer costs 10 euros each way. The tuk tuks are bumpy but you get a lot of information from the drivers. On the whole a lovely stay in a lovely hotel.

The staff is highly professional; multilingual, helpful, considerate - everything you want from a high quality hotel. The hotel is on a semi-private street with limited access to vehicles, which makes it quiet - yet only steps from more commercial streets with many restaurants, shops, bars, etc.

WiFi in our area of the hotel did not work. On the occasion we could “connect” we could not look anything up on the internet. TV very small and at end of the room opposite the bed for viewing. Our bathroom door did not close. Water damage along floor edges in bathroom. Staff very helpful and friendly. Breakfast very good with many choices. Breakfast attendant very nice and helpful. Traveler be aware, this is at the top of a hill. The street it is on has a barrier that not all uber drivers can get through. We had to drag our luggage uphill for the last two or three blocks to check in. And the castle on Google looks very close by, but it is a 10-15 minute walk to get there. FYI.
