We were there to experience the Beatles experience and the location was perfect. Easy to access shops so all round a great location to stay. Bar and hall area were interesting and welcoming. Sadly our room was a little tired and needed minor works done.

Beautiful decor. Large and spacious rooms. Very comfortable! Despite not receiving my 5 am wake up call and not being able to fetch a cab (Uber to the rescue), the short stay was lovely. Convenient and peaceful location. Looking forward to staying there soon again.

Sleep disruption

You have to very careful what room you get in this hotel. The noise from the live music locally is so loud I couldn’t hear the TV in the room. Advised by staff it would end no later than midnight but that’s not acceptable when your day has started at 5am. Wouldn’t offer a room change until it had reached that time by which point your rest has been disrupted.

We enjoyed our stay but were underwhelmed. Shower gel was empty,toilet seat loose and room was spacious but needed touching up considering it was a superior room. Furniture scratched and extremely dark in room and corridors Breakfast was good but all self service,no side plates. Tables were ring marked from hot drinks. Good but definitely not luxurious.
