We were allocated an accessible room on the 3rd floor which was not requested but didn’t think it would be a problem. However the very tired and worn laminate flooring was seeping water through the joints , we originally thought this was the remnants of cleaning the room but it soon became clear it was stagnant water from the bathroom which became a no go area due to the smell and drain flies ! Whenever the bathroom above was used the sound of the gushing water in our room felt like it was upon us It was an extremely unpleasant stay which has all been highlighted to the management and we await a response

This is a popular hotel for bachelorette parties because the rooms are huge and can accommodate many. I wish they were a little better about noise control past a certain time. Both nights rowdy guests woke us up because they were directly across from our room (2-3am). I should have researched a little better before booking this stay, we mainly stayed here because of its Liverpool football history. We came to Liverpool primarily to visit the stadium and check out the area hoping to return for a match. Would I stay here again, probably not. The huge jacuzzi tub was really nice to have though.

Room was great but wasnt expecting to have both a shower & jacuzzi. Did hear some noisy guests arrive back late but that isnt the hotels fault. Would go back as beds were comfy.

The Shankly is 100/ish years old? So it’s not going to be a pristine perfect condition facility the bathroom with the waterfall shower is great except for water temperature it was not even remotely hot. I also desperately needed grab bars I had such difficulty getting in and out of the shower and bathtub. I also wished there was soft close toilet seat

Tv had no signal. Maintenance could not resolve. Duty manager failed to provide alternative solution. Bathroom shelf not safe. Not fixed to wall correctly.
