My check-in was easy and quick. The room was very hot, and the roof lounge was extremely loud and disturbing. I was not able to rest until the lounge closed due to the excessive laughing and music. When I checked out, the man at the desk was short and rude with his responses. I’ll look elsewhere next time.

Great hotel close to the main attractions

Great hotel, with cozy, small but comfortable rooms. The location is great, it's a shot walking distance away from most attractions. Another plus for this hotel is that they offer breakfast, which is absolutely delicious.

Great customer service

Room was on an enclosed courtyard and quiet noisy because of another guest. Requested to change rooms and was quickly accommodated. Customer service was excellent.

The staff were very helpful. We had a very nice spacious room on the sixth floor. The free breakfast was really good with lots of choice including local produce and fantastic cakes. The hotel is a very short walk from the triple bridge in a safe area. An excellent base to explore from with several local tour guide companies picking up from the hotel.

Three night stay April 2025

Only complaint is room way too hot as A/C wouldn’t be turned on until May and it was mid April. Can’t turn temperature down in the room or front desk. Said they would bring a fan but never happened. Room overlooked the road and it was noisy so couldn’t leave window open at night. Breakfast buffet was good but very busy of course.

Good but dated rooms

Hotel is really nicely located just outside of the old town, and is walkable to everything. Reception area and restaurant are very inviting; rooms are comfortable but a bit dated. Lack of temperature control in the rooms was also an issue.

Great location, great service!

The location is perfect for sightseeing, the staf are very friendly and efficient, their English is excellent, and the breakfast buffet is loaded with choices. My only complaint was that my room felt too warm and there wasn't much I could do about it. They seem to be aware of the issue because there are signs in the room with suggestions for keeping the room cool. I opened the window for a while, but there are no screens to keep bugs out. I still recommend the hotel wholeheartedly.

We are travelling around this part of Europe, staying in 11 different hotels and this was our favorite. The room was beautiful. The breakfast was very impressive with many hot and cold options. The fitness center is small but has one elliptical bike, one treadmill and an an awful lot of weights. The only caveat is that if you are a very light sleeper this may not be the best option. We needed the window open a tiny bit to cool the room and a lot of traffic goes by. We thought that some of the noise came from a loose manhole cover which will no doubt be fixed soon.

Eco friendly. Excellent location to the bus station and also the old town. The hair dryer in the room can do with an upgrade but it’s manageable. Very good atmosphere. I loved that at breakfast, there were some local offerings (eg yogurt from a farm).

First, the breakfast really was well done and a great perk. However, other aspects were less fantastic. In early April, our room slept hot as air conditioning was not available. I was able to open the window, but it still was on the hot side and then sound from outside was disruptive. Parking was very expensive nearby, and the staff did not seem to realize the cost, advising us to move to another location for very little benefit. The room that was purchased on Orbitz was not available due to some kind of error. Things happen. What bothers me is that the staff hoped we wouldn't notice the change in the room, and then admitted it when confronted. We were comped with some nice cocktails, and it wasn't the end of the world, but I wish we didn't have to argue for what we bought.
