I had an awesome stay, the property is very well maintained, clean, modern and extremely comfortable. And the in house restaurant is top notch (chicken fried steak is huge and delicious). The prices of their rooms are extremely reasonable, actually the same price as the lesser quality ones on either side. I recommend staying there.

Staff are very friendly and helpful. But I was woken up many times during the night by loud honking of vehicles outside and dog's barking in the hotel. I barely was able to sleep. To be honest, it was very annoying.

This property got a really high rating but I would say, it was undeserving. The common area and room had an extremely strong disinfectant order that serves up a big headache. The property is in need of maintainence. I'd give a 3 out of 10.

Southern Comfort in Marshall

We only stayed for a quick overnight on our way through traveling, but what an extremely clean and comfortable hotel. Staff was very friendly and they had tortilla shells to make breakfast burritos- a nice change from the standard continental breakfast. Highly recommend.

Not sure what they were building or repairing but the guy with the skilsaw was just outside our window and every morning we knew he was there. We watched our granddaughter the morning of Christmas Eve and she wasn’t a fan of the noise. Other than that, the room and hotel was clean. Staff was friendly, easy parking
