Front Desk receptionist was nice. The rooms definitely need some work. Found roaches throughout my stay. House keeping didn’t clean the room throughout my stay. I left to run errands and came back to some towels tied in a bag sitting outside by the door. They didn’t even bother to come in and clean the room and remove trash and dirty towels. Not sure if I’ll stay there again.

The room was clean but there was no remote for the tv so I had to go to the front desk to get one. The following day house keeping came in didn’t clean the room, took the towels and never came back to restock them. I had to go down to the front desk to get more.

Really nice hotel all around. Everything looked very modern and clean. The beds were very comfortable. The TVs and channel options were great. It was located close to a lot of restaurants. The staff were very friendly. They accommodated dogs very well. The price was great for the value. They even decorated for Christmas late on Thanksgiving night so we woke up the next morning to beautiful Christmas decorations.

Any other Red Roof Inns that I’ve only seen in passing, and one regretfully stayed in, cannot compare anywhere close to the gem “Red Roof Inn” in Longview, Texas! This place will always get my business, and the prices and service is awesome as well! Great job Longview-Red Roof!

The shower mechanism in the faucet was stuck so only the bath faucet worked. Apparently there is no maintenance available on the weekends, which seems odd as I would expect that to be the busiest time to have service available. We were told there was no other room to switch us to and it was 11pm before we discovered this issue. We also had to call twice to geta blow dryer to the room.

Our recent stay at this hotel was extremely disappointing and concerning. From the moment we arrived, we were met with an awful smell throughout the hallways and in our room. Things only went downhill from there. We found a cockroach near the door, the carpet was torn up, and the air vent had visible black mold. The light fixture in the room was rusted, and the towels provided were stained and dirty. The furniture was in terrible condition as well, with a ripped chair and what looked disturbingly like a blood stain on the curtain. Even worse, the bed sheets had hair and blood stains on them, which is absolutely unacceptable for any hotel. The sink was clogged, making it difficult to use, and the hot tub had algae buildup, making it unusable and unsanitary. Overall, this property is in desperate need of cleaning, repairs, and better management. We expected at least basic cleanliness and safety, but this hotel failed on every front. We would not recommend this place to anyone.

Dirty towels!!!

Cleanliness was awful! Dirty towels! Floor was slimy to the point felt like walking on a skating rink. Was a shame because otherwise comfort was good, but cleanliness was awful! Towels clearly were dirty and not washed. There was a substance on them that clearly was not a stain soaked in and would have come off if they had actually been washed. Gross!
