Worst hotel we've ever stayed in. Expedia should drop them as it is such a terrible hotel and reflects on Expedia. We are experienced travellers and needed a one night stay between cruises. It was so bad there was either human or animal feces on the floor of the elevator. We had a broken security bar on the terrace patio door leading to our room that anyone could get to. We will never stay at a Crowne Plaza again. We are questioning Expedia's commitment to quality as well

Crowne Plaze Los Angeles Harbor Hotel

The hotel was perfect for our stay. The staff were friendly and approachable. I wish the shuttle to the cruise port was a free shuttle as it seems like this could be a service the hotel provided. And, I wish the restaurant option at the hotel wasn't such an expensive option. All in all, though, we would stay here again if we were going on a cruise.

Booked a one-night stay before a cruise celebrating my husband’s 60th birthday. Since it was a milestone event, I selected what seemed to be one of the most upscale hotels available. We were frankly disappointed, however. Overall the staff was excellent and the lobby was lovely. The guest room, however, was pretty dated. The carpet was ripped in places, the upholstery on a chair had a hole with stuffing coming out, and the bathroom was way past its prime with super sloppy paint and caulking jobs. The shower had long brown hairs stuck to the tiles and the water pressure was so laughable it was like a dribble. Also, the toilet handle was cheap and the toilet didn’t flush efficiently. When I was a kid growing up somehow I’d gotten it fixed in my head that the Crowne Plaza was a top-notch establishment and I dreamed of staying there someday. This particular venue was like a queen well past her prime. At least the staff were delightful and the shuttle to the boat was great. Still, when you pay more you expect more. This did not deliver.
