The office was great except for one gentleman that was a little older was kind of rude other than that everyone else was super nice. The first guy took my Apple Pay when I wanted to stay another day they wouldn’t take it so that was confusing for me so I left and booked somewhere else but overall it was OK

The check-in process was quick and easy. Every interaction with the staff was efficient but not particularly friendly/personable. Hotel room was clean and in order but there was a very strong smell of cleaning products that was overbearing so that I had to open the window each time I returned to the room. Normally, opening a window would not concern me but as a female traveling alone, I felt uncomfortable. Which is why I said the hotel is isolated - it is the last business on the road without quick access to other businesses or restaurants. It is on a very noisy street but the AC unit was also noisy and that helped drown out the street noise. The room was affordable and clean and if I were traveling with my husband, I would be willing to stay there again. Overall, I give it a three out of five stars.

Pleasantly Surprised!

It was as pictured online, the room was clean, smelled good and cozy. Nice fluffy pillows and comfy beds. The staff was friend and very helpful! 10/10 would stay again! Coffee & sweet rolls in the am is a plus too!

We visited Six Flags and it is located in a great location for that. The room itself was clean and the price was right. This is the second time we have stayed there. There is always a concern that there will not be a parking spot for us as they have signage that warns there isn't enough parking but we have not had this issue with either of our visits.

Comfortable but noisy

If you can't handle traffic noise while sleeping, this is not the place for you. I would also recommend getting a room upstairs if possible to cut down on the headlights, shining into your windows at all hours of the evening. I unfortunately had a room directly next to the laundry room where people enjoyed smoking cigarettes at all hours. It was also the closest to the busy road. My room was mostly updated, but when you see chipped paint on furniture, unknown substances on light switch plates and on bed frames, and stains on the walls, the updates seem to not be as impressive. This was just one of those situations where you get what you pay for. I was only there for one night, so it was fine.

Our stay was sufficient for what we needed. Our room was in excellent condition. Staff was nice. The reason I’m giving this motel 3 Stars is b/c of the street noise. I’m not a light sleeper but the road noise woke me up often. It was hard to get a solid night sleep. Also, every time we came back after a full day our room key never worked. It was pain in the butt to have the staff open our door every time we wanted to be let in. I kept my key in the paper sleeve they provide so that the keys won’t de-magnetize themselves and STILL they didn’t work! All in all, great room. Just bring ear plugs if you need your sleep.

The room was really clean and simple, serving its purpose well. I noticed many complaints about traffic and train noise, but I didn't experience much of it because I was located near the back. My only issue was that, since my room was near the stairs, I could hear people coming up and down. Other than that, the stay was pleasant. There aren’t many dining options directly nearby, but a five-minute drive to downtown Newhall offered plenty of amazing choices!
