We stay at the Americinn South frequently when visiting family. It’s a clean, serviceable hotel. Breakfast is a bit above average with breakfast meat, eggs, bagels, muffins and sweetbreads, overly sweet yogurt, cereals,honeys and jam and butter and cream cheese, fresh bananas apples and oranges. And apple juice and watery OJ. Closes too early at 9 am. Selection of teas, coffee and hot chocolate all day. The Pool ours nice. There are 3 bars or restaurants next door. I always sleep well. Helpful staff. We will return again.

Great place to stay!

Everything was well maintained and very clean. The pillows are abnormally small, which was a challenge. The thermostat is older and finicky… but that’s a small thing. Overall a great, convenient property to stay at in Madison!

I feel like the front desk was overwhelmed with other duties and were almost never actually at the front desk. The pool and hot tub were FANTASTIC. We got a suite room and it was very quiet and dark. Breakfast was fine

Great hotel. From check-in to our room to breakfast in the morning, all was good. The only complaint was the hot tub was too hot and it wouldn't turn on by the button.
