Very disappointed in the hotel. On check in we received a key that didn’t work and had to go back to the desk for a key that worked only to find the room hadn’t been cleaned. While waiting for the room to be cleaned we found that the one of 2 restaurants were open. We should have gone to McDonald’s for a cheaper hamburger. Casino was disappointing no servers around…drinks were not available. I will not be going to this one again.

When we arrived at our hotel room, it had a strong smell of cigarette smoke. We requested a different room, but the staff informed us that none were available. They offered to place an ozone machine in the room, which would take about an hour to complete. When we returned, the smell had improved somewhat, but the odor of cigarette smoke was still noticeable. We ended up going to a nearby store to purchase Febreze and another air freshener to help with the remaining odor.

Dire need of renovation

The rooms are in dire need of updating and renovations. The carpets are old and stained. The room had a moldy smell. The pillows was of poor quality. The windows was so dirty you couldn’t see out. Overall the hotel needs a deep cleaning everywhere.

Stopped for an evening passing through. Saw a review about craps dealers not knowing their responsibilities well and I have to agree. They weren't paying attention and wrongfully paying or not paying bets correctly. Also, why is the restaurant closed on weekdays! Drive 12 hours and you're tired and hungry but restaurant closed and no microwave in the room. The cafe counter was the only food option.

The fire alarm is certainly loud enough but when it was over, there was no announcement telling us we could return to our rooms. Nothing! It was a Tuesday so no breakfast was served, no coffee in the lobby for guests, despicable coffee in the room. Only available food later in the day was a greasy spoon grill. We couldn’t count on Harrah’s to get meals. We don’t gamble, just chose Harrahs for its location. Never going back.
