Great place but reserve amenities ahead of time, weeks prior. Missed out on spa experience because it fully book even though we had a luxury suite.

Soon as we walked in the door, the cigarette smell was strong. The walk to our room was very long just to get to the elevator. Walk, turn right, walk turn left, long hall. Up a ramp, turn right, turn left, another ramp. Walk down a hall. What idiot designed this place? I don’t have space here just to describe the long walk from the parking garage to the front desk. Never renting here again. Did I mention cigarettes Stink?

We chose the Blue Chip for its location. We enjoyed the short drive to Chicago and also enjoyed the local breweries and wineries. We had one small issue with the hotel but the Manager resolved it without issue. We stayed in the spa side and were pleasantly surprised with our room. Would stay again.

Our Anniversary stay

Was disappointed that the pool was dirty and the hot tub was not working. One of the reasons we came to this hotel. Adults only on Friday and Saturday
