People jumping line at checkin. Overloaded a very nice counter man. No parking on site. Hotel offered parking for long stays but didn’t move vehicles to separate lot. At least 25 to 30% were snow covered . Many people illegally parked, some in fire lanes and others on the road entering the property. We have stayed at this location for many years before flights from MPS. Never had this problem before. Have reservation in Feb that I will probably cancel. I would never go to this hotel again. Pool areas was not heated ( only tiny heater as shown in the picture that did nothing). Breakfast will run out 30 mins to 1 hour before their posted time. There were 2 breakfast ladies (one was really good and would check on customer and the other was so stingy and not helpful). Receptionist would never smile in your face. I would never stay in this hotel again.

When we first checked in we were not provided any info-- no WiFi password, no info about breakfast, no directions to our room-- you get the point. The first room we were assigned didn't have a functioning heater. We got switched to another room pretty easily. For the rest of our stay, we didn't have any service-- we had to empty our own trash and get towels from the front desk. It was even our job to hunt down toilet paper.The location of the hotel was excellent for our reason for being in town, other than that, everything was at best Ok.

Check in was fast and simple. No directions after handing me my room key (easy enough to find the elevator and room etc, but typically the attendant will let you know about breakfast hours, etc.) The room was disgusting though. The bed was made with probably clean sheets but all surfaces were dirty from the last guest. Rings from the glassware, greasy handprints on bedside tables/tv stand, water/toothpaste/soap left on the bathroom sink/surrounding counter. The floors had not been vacuumed. I didn't use the shower but it looked ok.

Everything about the hotel was a really good. Unfortunately, I couldn't give it 5 stars because it just had two minor flaws: 1) it needs an emergency backup attendant - I understand that sometimes the check-in attendant might be short handed but at least have someone be able to inform the guests that he/she is attending to an important matter and to have the guests come back at a certain time, 2) I don't know about the other rooms, but my Rm 218 had rusty grab handle bars in the bathroom, and I accidentally put a bath towel on it only to see that the rust had stained the towel. Other than these two things, I thought that the hotel was worth the stay. I thought the breakfast was good for what the hotel provided. I'll consider staying again but hopefully, the hotel can remedy these suggestions.

Our room was spotless, and the staff provided excellent guest service. It truly felt like a second home for us. The only suggestion we have is regarding the lighting. Since we were attending a family wedding in Eagan, it was a bit difficult to get ready because our suite didn’t have a mirror and the lighting was not very bright. Improving this would make the stay even better.
