Price was right, room was clean, and beds were clean. The staff was excellent, but the place is old. This new ownership is trying to clean it up with newer paint etc. One towel, no coffee, no frig or microwave and rooms are small. 2 queen beds both pushed up against the walls. I would change this to a single bed, probably a California King. Staff needs to make sure there are adequate linens in the rooms,too. owned my own motel for 30+ years. Not up to franchise standards, I suspect but clean and resonably priced.

Not My Favorite But It Works in a Pinch

Just stopped here for a night while on a road trip. There were over a DOZEN spider webs along the tops of the walls in the room. Lots of gnats in the room also when we first entered, which made for an unpleasant dinner. The bed was comfortable though.

I don't know HOW this place has such a high rating

We paid extra for the rooms with a fridge and the fridge was barely cooler than room temperature. One of the toilets took forever to flush and you had to flush repeatedly to get it to flush all the way. The rooms smelled like mildew. One of the keys didn't work.

The room had a clean smell and I slept well enough. There was a lot of hair on the shower drain, so I didn't shower. The motel was older but the price was good, so were it not for the hair, my experience would have been above average.

I guess you (almost) get what you pay for.

Just needed a room for the night, nothing more Still not impressed. Security chain was busted, weather stripping was pieced together and let in light, room was pretty cramped, shower curtain did not keep the water from flooding the floor.
