It was very cozy hotel. Only issue was the lobby and the bed were arranged so close to each other and the rooms door wasn’t sealed enough to dissipate the noise coming from the lobby inside the room. Also they have a 7feet 6 inches parking garage and I have a 8 feet long vehicle. Therefore I had to find a parking spot a block or two away from the hotel. But overall it was a pleasant stay.

The location is centralized and you can walk to Fisherman's Wharf and downtown Monterey. I love that you can just text them if you need assistance and they respond immediately. It is very convenient.

Worst check-in service

The front desk guy, his name was Christian or Christiano and it looks like he hate to work in there. He helped my check-in and his attitude and expression were really unkind and very unprofessional. I went to so many hotels in the U.S. and it was the worst check-in service I have ever seen. His facial expression and the way of speaking to customer were awful. Other staffs were so kind and room was clean. Everything was fine except his worst service.

Beautiful hotel in a really great location. It’s a little more on the pricer side, but you are paying for the location. We loved being able to just walk around from our hotel. There’s a restaurant located inside the hotel. We ate there for dinner one night, and was surprised at how tasty our meal was. Would definitely stay here again.

The property was beautiful, especially the check in area with the arboreteum. Rooms were large and clean. Staff was exceellent and the location was perfect for experiencing downtown or Fisherman's Wharf. It was about a 20-25 minute walk to the aquarium but it was a beautiful walk. Really enjoyed the property!
