It's more of a lodge in the middle of nowhere to be honest... which isnt necessarily bad. We thought it was much closer to Gunnison. The area is beautiful and secluded. There is no cell phone service and the wifi isnt great. No food nearby so anticipate eating before arrival or eating at the restaurant. The food at the restaurant in the lodge is good! But it is pretty pricey. We ate a delicious apple fritter cake... not super vegetarian friendly though if you are. One of our family members is.

It's a cool place off the beaten path. Nice bar and dining room. The breakfast room coffee machine was broken with no one to fix it. The lighting could be better in the breakfast room

It’s the second time we’ve stayed at this remote lodge. We came back because we had a good experience the first time. The restaurant serves cozy, good food. The location off the beaten track is a nice getaway, and we’re likely to stop here again!

No one seemed to be able to answer any of our questions about what was available there, and for our use. The lodging seemed to be an afterthought. Focus was mostly on bar and entertainment. If you are a local and go there all the time it would probably be great. if you have never been there or to the area, forget it, you're on your own!

We had a wonderful 2 night stay, accomodations were excellent, amenities well thought out, food at the restaurant amazing and wonderful staff who even accommodated a special meal request! The drive up to the lodge was easy enough on the dirt road and you're away from the city so the night stars are incredible! We will definitely be back!

Excellent!

We stayed one night at this property and loved it! It truly is in the middle of no where but we wanted something other than a boring chain hotel. Staff was very friendly and helpful. Each room is decorated per the theme of the room. Our room was very clean and the beds were comfortable. The outdoor area was fun! The activity in the outside building was karaoke the night we were there! We played games and enjoyed the fire pit. The on site restaurant had good food. Very unique place that I would definitely recommend staying!

Great place to stay

Arrowhead Mountain Lodge was a very nice stay! The themed rooms were so fun, and it was very cozy and clean. There was a dirt road leading up the lodge which I didn't think was bad to drive on at all (we went in early September, though, so there was no snow). It was fun to see deer and elk on the road to the lodge. It was fairly close to the Black Canyon and to the Blue Mesa Reservoir.

Family vacation

The view was amazing. The lodge is in the moutains and lodge is very rustic. We loved it. Saw deer and tons of elk. It is very far from the closest town but the drive was beautiful. The only set back was their continental breakfast. The bread was molded and the coffee pot took very long to make one cup of coffee. The food was not fresh at all. We had to drive to town for breakfast on our way to do our activities. We had hoped to enjoy the surrounding area while eating our breakfast.

The room was very clean and comfortable. Unfortunately when we checked in, we were told the restaurant was closed. We had not eaten since early in the day so this was upsetting. She said she had sent me a message the day before, but I checked text and voicemail and had nothing. We did manage with some items out of the breakfast area and a couple things we had with us. Your driving instructions were perfect.

Everything about our stay was wonderful! The property is beautiful, the music and food was great! We were in the arrowhead room, the bed felt like sleeping on a marshmallow. It was so comfortable!Everyone it seemed came out from the neighborhood to enjoy the festivities, cornhole, etc. Skye made us feel so welcome and appreciated! We would definitely visit again!
