The property is beautiful. Rooms and Amenities are very good. Clean and well maintained. Unfortunately, the front desk staff is incompetent. It took an eternity to check in and check out. After they took over 30 minutes to check me out and pay for two rooms, they informed my colleague his room was not paid, so now I’m dealing with that.

Nestled in the heart of the city, the hotel felt like an oasis of calm, a peaceful, refined escape amidst the vibrant buzz of Mumbai. From the moment we arrived, we were warmly welcomed and genuinely cared for by the outstanding team. A special thank you to Priya at the front desk, who checked us in so graciously and set the tone for a wonderful stay. She also took us to our room and checked us in there. Our room was decorated with flowers and balloons and the bed also had throws and cushions saying Happy Birthday. Oberoi is my favourite hotel on earth

Exceptional service and an indulgent stay in Mumbai We had an absolutely wonderful stay at The Oberoi Mumbai. Having previously stayed at the Oberoi in Delhi, we knew there was nowhere else we’d rather be for our time in the city — and it didn’t disappoint. • The service was, as always with Oberoi, outstanding — the best we’ve experienced across any hotel chain. • We were checked in directly in our room, which was made available early (around 11am) — a thoughtful touch that made our arrival seamless. • Breakfast was a daily highlight, with an extensive à la carte menu and something for every palate. • The gym and spa facilities were excellent, and we thoroughly enjoyed our massage. • While the pool is on the smaller side, it still offers a relaxing escape from Mumbai’s heat. A note of caution: the hotel transfers are very expensive (~£100), especially compared to booking a large Uber (~£10). There are likely more reasonable options in between. All in all, a truly memorable stay. We’re still dreaming of the scent of those beautiful bathroom products. Highly recommend.
