Spacious, Clean, and Great for Families

We had a lovely stay at Ocean Reef Resort in Myrtle Beach. The condo we stayed in was spacious, very clean, and to our surprise, we were upgraded from a two-bedroom to a three-bedroomvwhich gave us extra space that really came in handy. The kitchen was fully stocked with everything we needed to make meals; pots, pans, dishes, utensils, you name it. That made it super convenient and saved us from eating out every day, which we really appreciated. The only downside was the refrigerator in our unit, which didn’t get very cold. It took a long time for things to freeze in the freezer and even longer for the fridge to cool items properly. Aside from that, everything else was great. The property grounds were beautiful and well-kept. The pool area was clean, and although one of the outdoor hot tubs wasn’t working (we called a few times but it never got fixed), there were other options available. We just preferred the outdoor one since the indoor ones can get a bit muggy and the chemicals can be strong on the eyes. We didn’t interact much with the staff, but someone did come by daily to drop off fresh towels, which we appreciated. We didn’t realize ahead of time that the condos don’t include daily cleaning or bed-making service, but it wasn’t a big deal just something to be aware of. All in all, a comfortable and enjoyable stay. We'd definitely consider returning.
