I made a recording of the noise. It was so loud with young children in the property adjacent to us. Mice dropping on the floor. Mold on shower. Our front window was blocked by a wall. Room was dark even with lights on. We were in room 212. The hotel was not properly rated. I’m dismay the misrepresentations. Only bright spot was a nice lady at check in.

Our suite was perfect for two couples. Plenty of space and nicely updated. Would definitely book again if back in town. We were only there for one night but kitchen was perfectly equipped for longer stays.

Some of the neighbors homes were being renovated while at this location. When my husband and I went to the pool. They stopped hammering and did quite things for an hour. When we left we noticed they went back to working on the loud things. The property is quite, clean, and staff was over the top in accommodating us with every need. Oh, and free laundry!!

Finding affordable stays on Marco Island is not easy. Marco Island Lakeside Inn is a quiet and clean spot, convenient to shopping, food, and Tigertail Beach. The rooms are spartan. Ours had a fridge, a big microwave, and a pod coffee machine. No utensils, cups or plates. I usually try to gauge value, but on Marco it all goes out the window. If the price works for you it is a great spot to base your stay while hitting the beaches or the Snook Inn, or whatever. The staff are super helpful which makes a good hotel even better.

Nice but Noisy

It's an older hotel but it is kept up. It's in an older residential area. The Reception Clerk was very pleasant upon checking in. The room itself had new flooring, paint, and the furniture, bathroom and kitchenette were newer looking so that was nice. Two nice televisions with lots of choices. It was very clean. Plenty of towels. The mattress on the bed was very noisy when we moved around. I think it was older. The headboard was not attached to the bed so when you first sat on the bed it moved because it was on wheels so then the headboard fell forward. We had to just push the bed back against the headboard and then it was fine. The air conditioning worked well but was VERY noisy. It woke my husband up every time it kicked on. I shared this with the clerk when I was checking out and she seemed uninterested. This was a different clerk then the one who checked us in. I'm not sure we would stay there again because of the AC. Maybe a different room would have been quieter.

Pros: reasonably affordable at times (under $250) spacious rooms, clean, comfy bed, friendly and wuick check in Cons: sliding patio would not latch (had a room a year or so ago- same issue. Room was clean otherwise, but floor was gritty/sandy in places. Neighborhood children are noisy and play in the parking lot- watch for them. It appears they live in what used to be one of the inn units I was told inn was purchased last year, and new owner is making improvements, I could see poolside rooms finally being renovated, post Ian. I love the convenience, low key atmosphere and price, and will continue to stay here, when I come to shell, as improvements ARE being made. It is a great place with loads of potential. I can recommend it!
