Nice rooms, but thin walls caused noise issues

This hotel is set back from the highway, behind the outlet mall. The rooms were well appointed. The only issue I had was the large amount of noise coming from the hallways and nearby rooms. I can't remember the last time I have stayed somewhere with walls so thin. I heard the crying baby from next door, the 2 dogs across the hall, and all the vacuuming taking place out in the hallways.

The property is back off the freeway which is considerably quieter. The site has less traffic and plenty of parking. The rooms are clean and large, the staff are very friendly. This will be my go to hotel in the San Marcos area.

In the room 201 took off shoes and stepped on a nail/staple on the floor there was a part of the carpet that was missing probably due to animals picking it I really think you should keep animals in one section and only assign rooms to them I called the front desk to let them know I really hope that she documented it cause it did puncture my skin.
