Rooms are nice and clean, good view from the lobby. Don’t order room service. Was given two “food vouchers” but apparently they don’t cover room service… okay. But then the actual breakfast food was inedible, complete waste of food and money.

I was never greeted as a Marriott Bonvoy customer. I was informed at check-in that there would be a destination fee. This was not disclosed when booked. Ridiculous. Overnight parking was $59 per night. Ripoff. The combine fees plus room charges put the nightly cost close to $450-$500. Ancillary charges at this property are exorbitant. If you think you are getting a low rate, you are not because of the ancillary fees. In addition, the first room we checked into had a terrible smell. We returned to the front desk and were assigned another room. The second room was okay. The bathroom was dated and needed renovation. This hotel is tired and needs significant upgrades. The best thing going for this hotel is the location. There are better properties to choose from in New Orleans.
