I want to give this hotel a 10 out of 10 for the way it smelled, looked, the staff, and the location, but after seeing bugs in our room on the second night that changed my whole perspective. They did put us in another room, which was a downgrade (one bed) because that was the only room available that night. My compensation for seeing 4 bugs as I was getting ready to go to a big event (so I of course I was delayed because we had to pack up and move to the other room and now I’m traumatized, hoping that the bugs are not in my suitcases) was a credit of the resort fee. Anna the manager was not kind or understanding at all. After calling Expedia asking for a credit for the one night they contacted her and she said all they would offer is the resort fee credit. Very unfair compensation for having bugs in a room and again this is traumatizing because you don’t know if you’re gonna bring the bugs home with you. They did credit my resort fee and I called IHG the next day and they gave me 10,000 points. Unfortunately, I would not stay at this hotel again because even the maintenance didn’t know what kind of bug it was. I have pictures and a video and still don’t know what it was. Thank you Expedia for $50 credit to my account

Wonderful stay

We had a great stay at this hotel. Before we got there I called and told them that two of the people traveling with us were going to NYC for the first time and asked if we could have a room on a high floor. They honored this and even left a surprise in the room. The ladies at the front desk were so kind and gave us information and directions when we needed it. We had a great stay!

Good but not great

Stay was decent. They do not change the sheets during room turn over - I had the same stain on my bed for 4 days despite the bed looking like it was changed, it was just made. Security was great - key card works for your floor only and lobby is on 2nd floor.

Overall the stay was pleasant. I enjoyed it. The only thing I didn’t like was the refrigerator wasn’t cool enough but maintenance came quick to check out and fix. There was also this clicking noise in the bathroom that was a bit annoying. Lastly people coming in and out of a room next to mine, was a little loud. However overall my stay was good and I would recommend and return.
