We got a horrible room on the back of the elevator shaft so we would hear noises all night. The cleaning was supposed to happen every other day but was only made once during our stay. The staff was always busy and not in a good mood to help anyone. The hotel was completely full and they did not have enough staff for all the guests. The elevators were failing the hole time. We had to use the stairs. Terrible terrible property.

I love this hotel. Staff, location, cleanliness- all excellent. My only complaint, and it’s minor, is that I was in a room near the elevator and the mechanisms were a bit noisy through the walls. Never had that problem before though and I’ve stayed at the Hotel a few times. Definitely recommended!!

Name is confusing given there is another Hilton Garden Inn Central Park a few blocks away. This caused a booking error which was non refundable and I will not be staying here again. There are only 3 elevators for the whole building. Rooms are average. Bottled water isn’t free. Luggage hold is helpful. Location is a plus. But the booking error being non refundable is terrible.

There was no heat in 2 rooms! I had to be up very early for woek and last night the temp in nyc was 35degrees. There was no evening manager available. I spoke with 2 expedia reps, one was very unhelpful and the 2nd said she would speak with the mgr today for my refund. Im still waiting for an email confirmation on this that i asked her for. Very disappointed and probably wont yse expedia again especially if i dont grt a refund.

The elevator takes along time to get on, fan is a little loud for certain room. Other than that, it is all right. Very central location, close to everything. Friendly staff. Mattress is better than hotels from Seattle here, I can get a good sleep indeed.

Beds were a little hard and uncomfortable but for the price it cannot be beat. Very convenient to Central Park, Broadway, Times Square and subway and bus lines. We flew in early in the day several hours before check in time, and while our room wasn't available for early check in they did store our luggage for us and offered tons of suggestions of things to see near by and restaurants that were highly recommended. We had same issue check out day, check out was at 11, we didn't have to leave for the airport until 5, they stored our luggage for free, saving us from having to drag it around the city on our last day. Staff was just incredibly kind and helpful!!!)
