Perfect hotel for transport connection, easy in and out via e train/airtrain to JFK and connections to every part of city via same metro station. Loved green acre park round the back and Xenos pizza on next block for quick food.

Pros: Great location! Laundry was great to have. The staff was extremely helpful and friendly. The towels were in the hallway, so that was convenient! Cons: Room was small for 4 people. Stayed 6 nights and only received service on the room once, leaving us having to ask for toilet paper and trash removal. ABSOLUTELY DO NOT pay for the breakfast! I’ve had better breakfasts at Best Westerns and they were free.

Staff were all really nice. Hotel is located in an area that make most things walkable or if you want to take the subway it’s only 2 min walk away. Like most of the hotels located in older NY buildings the elevators are limited. One day it took us 20 mins to get off our floor as every elevator that arrived was full. All in though a great base to have for any NY trip.

Great location, well managed stay

Amazingly located - makes travelling within Manhattan super simple. Well connected to the subway system. Rooms are typical of NYC - compact, but were okay for a family of 2 adults + 2 kids (we got the one with 2 queen beds). Food spots all around the place, so we didnt choose breakfast etc in the hotel. Rooms were clean, come equipped with microwave/small fridge. Would have appreciated a water kettle - asked, but they didnt have it.

Quick trip to the city

Stay was great but there was no housekeeping and we were out touring the city all day. For sure an expensive stay? Fresh towels and housekeeping should be a given.

I have stayed at a handful of Hiltons and this one I have to say was very very disappointing. When we walked into the room to check everything out we noticed that the plate on the back of the handle to turn the shower on and off it was completely off. We also noticed that the bar to hold the towels for washing hands was also hanging on for dear life off the wall. I took pictures and brought it up to a guy at the front desk. The guy at the front desk (the one with teal blue colored hair) was not friendly at all. He said he was sending someone up to our room. We waited an hour and no one came. I then came down stairs and told him no one came and he was like well I put it in. Later that evening, I noticed someone came into our room even though we put the sign up that said do not enter. And on top of that, they did not fix anything. I then proceeded to go downstairs and tell the guy again with the colored hair that someone came in , but no one fixed it. All he could tell me was that he put it into the system. There was no remorse or care what so ever. Completely disappointed in my stay. If I could attach pictures I would do so.
