Good location, noisy and dark depressing rooms.

Good location very close to Times Square and Broadway- this comes with some disadvantages though, mainly it was very noisy. Room clean and a good size but tatty in places. Chipped paint, very dark, needs more lights! Bathroom adequate but tiny. No tea or coffee facilities despite this advertised in the room description. Would we return - probably not - it was adequate for our stay, through for the price I expected a nicer room environment.

I read most of the reviews online and so many spoke highly of this hotel. When we checked in, our room was relatively shabby, in a major need of a paint job, but the sheets and towels were spotless and the included breakfast were a nice touch. The lobby was always chaotic and there was a line to get into the elevators at when the shows got out.

A great way to end our easter weekend

A classic, good looking place to stay comfortable, clean friendly. One thing in the room, it was kind of be refd of drawer space, even though there was a whole wall underneath the flat screen where a credenza could have been placed. They offer guests vouchers for meals and you are in the heart of the theater district. In fact, we were going to see othello, which was right across the street, and I was able to get parking down the block for less than the hotel was charging.

We loved The Hotel Edison's convenient Time Square location and comfortable beds and nice room. The Grab and Go breakfast is the way to get a delicious breakfast on the run without paying NY prices. We would stay here again!

Once for starters, we got there they gave us a room and after we checked in, we place our things under the room and we went out for dinner when we came back at 11 at night they have given our our room to someone else are things and belongs in the room and they had us waiting for an hour switch this to one other room that was unclean smaller than what we paid for at 1 AM. The room was not clean and they gave us such a hard time. It was uneventful moment and this was for my wife’s birthday. It was just a horrible experience that I would never want to live again had to go back and find a different hotel to stay for that night at one in the morning never again. So yes, it was a terrible experience horrible hotel staff is not up to part. And needs better training and how to deal with customers at $500 a night for us to get our room taken away and have somebody else inside with our belongings and then they say that it’s not wrong. It’s terrible.

Great hotel and restaurants

Went with my husband and got the king suite. It was a nice size. Could use some art work to make it more homey but the bed was so comfortable and we had a nice view of the city to the Hudson river. The restaurants at the hotel were fabulous. Always delicious. Loved the singing waitstaff at Gayle’s Broadway Rose. The staff were very nice and greeted us whenever we came down to the lobby.
