This was an amazing Find in Times Square. I often don’t stay in Times Square because I find that it is too chaotic when you step out the door, but having this hotel was an oasis in the madness.

Convenient, no frills, affordable

This was convenient to what we were doing but was no frills. Front desk was very friendly and helpful, room was clean with a comfortable bed (minimal amenities - no mini fridge or coffee maker). Water pressure was poor and took the shower a long time to get hot. Only two small, well-worn elevators, and hotel was very noisy. On second night, a woman was yelling somewhere in the hotel and other guests were yelling at her to be quiet (in Italian which was a nice touch). This was an affordable option but I wouldn't stay again.

I liked the Staff they were very friendly and helpful but the noise, you got to be able to sleep through it. Overall, location is convenient you surrounded by so much like 24 hrs coffee shop and sandwich shop if you wake up in the middle of the night hungry it's right next door, entertainment plus much more.

Fantastic hotel if you need an affordable and very central place to stay. It's an old property so don't expect luxury but it is very very clean and comfortable. All staff we met were amazing.

Review for Hotel St. James (April 1–6) I really enjoyed my stay at Hotel St. James! The location is amazing — super close to everything, which made getting around so easy. My room was clean, cute, and cozy, just what I needed for a relaxing stay. The staff was very helpful, and a special shoutout to Joey at the front desk — he’s the best! Only downside was that there was no fridge or coffee maker in the room, but honestly, I didn’t mind since I was out and about most of the time. I’ll definitely stay here again next time I’m in town!
