The room was surprisingly large for NYC. Everything was very clean. The rooftop bar was closed since it's winter, but we could still access the rooftop terrace and the view of the Empire State building was amazing. The location is very convenient. The street outside was a little noisy but that's to be expected for NYC. Overall great stay and I highly recommend this hotel!

NIce hotel.

Nice hotel. Great location. Friendly, helpful staff. Cool restaurant right next door. For some reason they thought it was a good idea to make their room keys the size of a postage stamp. Kept dropping them when trying to make the elevator work. Half of the time, the keys would not work on the elevator and I had to take the steps. Also, they have a new, modern technology, safe which I could not figure out how to operate. That could just be me.

We stayed at Kixby for three nights. We arrived by train, and the hotel was an easy 15 minute walk from Grand Central Station. The subway was also very close by. The check in was easy and the staff were very friendly. Our room was also nice, with pleasing decor, a comfy bed, and great water pressure in the shower. I would definitely stay here again.

I am extremely disappointed with the lack of customer service from Kixby. I became ill, fell and injured my rotator cuff. I was unable to travel for my two day stay, at the Kibxy. I provide a medical note as their request to reschedule my reservation. Both airlines approved my request, but the Kixby denied it. Life happens and there are circumstances when policies can be flexible to show compassion and good customer service. I would never book at this hotel again.
