Good for an overnight visit.

A lovely overnight stay at Gateshead. Clean spacious room with a very large (King) bed. Could have done with taking some light shoes or slippers as the floor was not carpeted although this was good for hygiene. Good breakfast with excellent quality sausage and bacon. Eggs were replaced frequently. Staff were extremely friendly and helpful. Stayed over after a gig at The Glasshouse (5 minutes walk).

More than excellent as always

As always, everything was perfect – the staff, rooms, and beds. If you’re staying alone, I’d recommend opting for a double bed rather than a king, as the king beds are just two doubles pushed together and, in my opinion, too soft—you’ll sink into them. The bar service was excellent. I love staying at the Ramada Encore Newcastle, and I’ll definitely be back again soon!

stayed in this hotel before and haven’t really had any issues, just this one time the lock on the door doesn’t seem to work, tried to enter the room from the outside so it seemed okay but one of the internal locks didn’t work and the only other lock it a small latch. didn’t want to cause a fuss so didn’t ask to change rooms or anything just felt slightly on edge to start with

Great staff!

Convenient, friendly staff, everything was as expected. Christmas Eve and Christmas Day morning so every reason for staff to be a bit irritated! They weren’t. Especially appreciated as we were visiting my son in hospital and cheerful, pleasant, professional staff helped ease the stress. Lady doing breakfast was superb!
