Well to start, I have mobility problems i have had 1 knee replaced and waiting on the other 1 and my hip getting replaced so when we were told our room was on the 2nd floor and the lift was broken didnt help.
We asked to be moved to another room which was on ground floor which they did. The rooms are not that clean, carpets were dirty looked like they hadnt been cleaned in a while. Round the bathroom floor was all grime, radiators are very old and yellow curtains dirty and window sills dirty, see pics. Dining room isnt the tidyest could deffo do with a lick of paint.
Breakfast, plates were cold, tea was freezing buffet breakfast cold and nit very nice at all. I was so disappointed as this was a gift i had bought for myself and my daughter for Christmas.
A bit of mother & daughter time and it was a total let down. We would not recommend this hotel at all.
Specifically chose this hotel as it's one of few with car parking spaces. However there's not enough spaces for the amount of guests, and I didn't get one. The hotel itself was very good value for money. Good large room, large bed and large bathroom. Breakfast was your usual standard buffet. However we did have an evening meal and that was delicious. Highly recommend. Staff all pleasant and helpful also.
Friendly staff. Great shower very powerful and great to have a choice to use a bath mat and to have a hand rail. Good temperature in room and clean and spacious. Very comfortable bed.
We were really hopeful based on the positive reviews, the location of the hotel was really good and free parking was helpful. The hotel rooms are dated but clean; the bathroom was very dated, rusty radiators, holes in the ceiling and moldy window. The room was incredibly hot, the thermostat on the radiator didn’t work and when we opened the windows the slightest breeze rattled the bedroom door which kept us up the majority of the night. The family room has two queen beds, fine for little ones but the duvet was nothing more than a single in a double cover. Thankfully the room was so hot a duvet wasn’t needed. On no sleep and desperate for fresh air we left early in the morning.
Room was very dated and tatty . The bathroom around the radiator pipes was thick with dust . This hotel was boasting a refurb in 2021 I think they forgot the single rooms as a friend also stayed and his room was the same . 2 other friends had a double room which was nice .

Disliked: Property conditions & facilities
This was my second stay at this hotel & was rather disappointing. On my first stay my room was delightful- beautifully furnished/decorated with a lovely bathroom. This time I was at the other end of the hotel which has clearly not been refurbished. The decor was very tired, particularly the bathroom. The sink tap was difficult to turn on and off. Having said that the bed was comfortable & the room clean and a good size. The heating in the corridors was stifling - perhaps they could lower the heating & spend the money saved on refurbishment!
We ordered cappuccinos in the bar & the barman arrived with 2 flat white coffees, saying he wasn’t very good at cappuccinos! He was friendly though as were the other staff members.
The staff were very friendly and my stay was comfortable. I needed some extra assistance with a presentation I was preparing for work and Cheryl the receptionist went above and beyond to help

Nice hotel but very noisy and creaky floor boards
Large hotel, quite eccentric and a little outdated. Our room was at the front of the hotel facing the strip where there were other hotels and restaurants.
The room was large with two queen size comfortable beds.
There is no thermostat in the room so was unable to change the temperature.
With the room being front facing there were lots of noise from crowds of people continuos throughout the night until the early hours. There were constant creaking of the floor boards outside the room with other quests waking up and down the corridors and constant slamming of doors.
Breakfast was really nice with a selection of continental and standard English breakfast self serve. Overall I wouldn’t recommend family staying her only due to the noise levels and location.
our third stay at this hotel over the last few years . we come back every time as we love the place.. feels like a family run business.. we will be back again soon.
Stayed here many times whilst daughter at uni. Nice large room this time with 2 double beds! Although heating wasn't really working so a bit crisp in the room
Could hear noise from karaoke in bar and people talking outside but it is Christmas time and it stopped promptly so not much of a problem
Love the 2 free EV chargers here always a bonus
